Digital photograph of of a drive wheel on Central of Georgia No. 223 , 8x10" glossy.
Several years ago, we were in Savannah, GA to attend the 13th Bomb Squadron Association reunion. On one of the days when there was nothing planned, we visited the Georgia State Railroad Museum, what a great museum. They have a wonderful collection of locomotives and cars. The site is impressive too, with a roundhouse and shops. I highly recommend visiting Savannah, GA and highly recommend visiting the Georgia State Railroad Museum.
This is a photo of a drive wheel on Central of Georgia locomotive No. 223, a 2-8-0, a Consolidation type locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, PA in 1907. A little bit of Philly in the deep South!
Printed from an Epson Expression XP-15000 printer using Claria Hi-Definition Ink on a 8.5x11" Epson glossy digital photo paper.
Mailed in flat, rigid envelopes to prevent damage or curling, and are ready to frame.
