Members of the 13th Attack Squadron (The Devil's Own Grim Reapers), along with their mascot "Rabaul", are seen mapping out their next target for today in front of Patches, a Douglas A-20 Havoc light bomber. From their base at Hollandia, Dutch New Guinea, the Grim Reapers played Hell with Japanese shipping and ground troops throughout the the Pacific.

The original photo that I used as reference for this illustration was taken by my friend Jack Heyn. Jack was a photographer with the 13th Attack Squadron in WWII. The original photo was taken in 1944.

Printed from an Epson Expression XP-15000 printer using Claria Hi-Definition Ink on a 13x19" sheet of matte finish, ultra premium photo paper.

Mailed in flat, rigid envelopes to prevent damage or curling, and are ready to frame.
