Digital print of Pennsylvania Railroad No. 60, 10x8" glossy.
Pennsylvania Railroad B-6Sa, 0-6-0 No. 60 sat rusting and vandalized on an abandoned siding along the old Pennsylvania Railroad's Conemaugh Division in Harmarville, PA. You can see the Allegheny River in the background, as well as the Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge near the Allegheny Valley interchange. In the upper left, there is just a hint of the Bessemer & Lake Erie Railroad. This was my second visit to photograph this forlorned locomotive. At the time, I was still a student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, but No. 60 it started a lifelong fascination for me with both the Pennsylvania Railroad and industrial decay. This photo was taken with a Pentax Spotmatic SPII using a ƒ-1.4/50mm Takumar prime lens and Kodak Tri-X 400 film. Scanned from the original negative with an Epson V600.
Printed from an Epson Expression XP-15000 printer using Claria Hi-Definition Ink on a 8.5x11" Epson glossy digital photo paper.
Mailed in flat, rigid envelopes to prevent damage or curling, and are ready to frame.
